This Agreement (and any further rules, polices, or guidelines incorporated by reference) shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Gauteng, South Africa, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions by posting the updated terms on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.

Warranty Information
1. Product Warranty Coverage
All Lighting Zone products carry the warranty specified on the individual product’s data sheet. Warranty periods and terms vary by product and manufacturer, and are detailed in the relevant product documentation supplied at the time of purchase.
2. Conditions of Warranty
It is a condition of the warranty that:
- The product is used as intended and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- All electrical connections are made in accordance with the product’s IP rating and applicable wiring regulations.
- Installation is carried out by a qualified electrician where required by law or product specification.
- The product has not been subject to misuse, negligence, unauthorised modification, or damage caused by incorrect installation.
- Proof of purchase is provided when making a warranty claim.
3. Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from power surges, lightning strikes, use of incorrect voltage, physical damage, water ingress beyond the product’s stated IP rating, or normal wear and tear. Consumable components such as bulbs and drivers may carry separate or limited warranty terms as specified on the product data sheet.
4. Limited Liability
The Lighting Zone’s liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product at our sole discretion. The Lighting Zone shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products.
5. Making a Warranty Claim
To lodge a warranty claim, please contact The Lighting Zone in writing with your proof of purchase and a description of the defect. All warranty claims are subject to assessment.
